Simple Pleasures
Last week on my day off we had WONDERFUL weather and most of the day was spent outside enjoying the warm and sunny weather...With the three in the photo below from picnics to Popsicles we had a great time.

ReplyDeleteAs soon as the weather warms I love to throw a blanket on the lawn and have a picnic. Throw in some popsicles and the day is just about perfect.

ReplyDeleteYour picnic with your children looks so relaxing. I love picnics. when my kids were young we would pack a picnic (which is half the fun) and have it in the back yard, or, in the loungeroom if the weather was bad. The rules were that you could use the bathroom -but- everything else was out of bounds...it had to be as if we were in the middle of the bush with only what we had brought with us.It made for interesting packing and the kids loved it.

I love picnics! They take me back to a simpler time. I think families with small children should have a picnic once a week. Nature has so much to offer.
